A Wellston man awaiting a pre-preliminary hearing this week on four charges he already faces has been charged with two new felonies.

Larry Don Seebeck, 57, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court Dec. 2 with knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property and distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance including possession with intent to distribute.

Seebeck appeared before Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk Nov. 29. She set his bond at $6,000 on Count 1 and at $5,000 on Count 2. He made his initial appearance on Dec. 5.

He was ordered back in court on Dec. 15 for his pre-preliminary hearing.

Special Judge Emily Mueller on that date continued the cause until Jan. 19, 2023.

In Count 1, Seebeck is accused on Nov. 28 this year at 910120 S. 3300 Road in Lincoln County of concealing a CAT skid steer that had been stolen from Warren CAT Equipment and he knew or had reasonable cause to believe it had been stolen.

Count 2 charges him on the same date and same location of intentionally possessing methamphetamine a CDS with the intent to distribute.

Lincoln County Investigator Christopher Hyde states in a probable cause affidavit that he and other investigators went to the referenced residence to investigate a report of Larry Seebeck maintaining stolen construction equipment on the property.

He said when they arrived Investigator Larry Stover, Sr., spoke with Seebeck regarding the stolen equipment and Seebeck showed Stover the stolen CAT skid steer which was later returned to the owner.

Stover detained Seebeck and wrote a search warrant for the property to search for other items.

Hyde stated that while executing the search warrant, he located a female, later identified as Kellye Beams in one of the outbuildings. He had dispatch check Beams for outstanding warrants and dispatch confirmed she had two felony arrest warrants through Lincoln County.

The investigator reported no other persons were located during officers’ initial search and Beams was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she was booked in without incident.

Hyde further stated while searching the main residence for stolen property, he located a clear plastic baggie containing a crystalline substance laying in plain view. He also spotted a glass smoking device with residue and unused syringes.

He said at that point, the search was stopped and they wrote another search warrant expanding the scope of the search and it was approved and signed by Special Judge Emily Mueller that afternoon.

Other drugs and paraphernalia were reportedly located on the property.

Hyde said he later transported Seebeck to the Lincoln County Jail in Chandler.

Seebeck was also charged last July with trafficking in illegal drugs, a felony, and three misdemeanors. The include unlawful possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, operating a motor vehicle without a proper license plate and failure to comply with compulsory insurance law.

Judge Mueller set Seebeck’s bond at $10,000. He made his initial appearance on Oct. 13 and his pre-preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.

His attorney in the July case is listed as Debra D. Campbell.

Campbell was arrested recently and is facing five drug-related felonies.
