Paul Munjoy

Paul Munjoy, age 59, passed on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in Shawnee, surrounded by his loving family and friend Big Mike. Paul was born May 25, 1964,inOklahomaCity, Oklahoma, to Carolyn (Dunn) and Vernon Bigham. He grew up in Chandler, Oklahoma, and graduated from Chandler High School in 1982.

Paul raised his two daughters in Chandler and Stillwater while working as an IT field technician at Oklahoma State University. He loved listening to Red Dirt music, attending many concerts, and enjoyed going to car shows with friends. On the weekends you could often find him smoking meat and enjoying cookouts with family and friends.

Paul is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Ashlee Wheatley and husband Chad, and Jessica Ojala and husband Tyler; his sisters, Angie Lee and husband Tony, and Chrissy Wayland and husband Billy; and his nephews and nieces, Kyle and wife Sarah, Caleb and wife Kelly, Davin and wife Brandie, Levi, Jocelynne and husband Clay, Jaedyn and Jordyn. He also had eight grandchildren;Westyn, LeElla, Wyatt, Hagen, Colby, Sonny, Harper and Charlee.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Munjoy; his father, Vernon Bigham; his maternal and paternal grandparents and great-grandparents.

A private celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date.
