Area track teams and individuals stood out Monday during regional track meets.

Above, Wellston freshman Savanah Gaylord won the 800 meters and finished second in the 400 in the Class A regional at Stroud. She ran 2:30.88 in the 800, beating Allie Sheppard of S W Covenant, who ran 2:31.70. In the 400, she ran 1:04.06, finishing second to Kate Davison of Texhoma. As a team, Wellston’s girls finished.
