Evelene H. King, retired teacher and librarian, died September 19, 2021 at home in Lenexa, Kan. She was 93. Evelene was born December 17, 1927 in Lincoln County, Okla., to Earl and Effie (Mefford) Hopkins. In 1946 she graduated from Chandler High School, Chandler, Okla.

Richard Wayne Plute was born to Frank and Anna Jane (Provorse) Plute on October 13, 1943, in Coffeyville, Kan. He died Monday, September 13, 2021, in Tulsa, Okla., at the age of 77 years.

Terry Lee Harper

Terry Lee Harper was born to ST and Syble (McDaniel) Harper on July 26, 1954, in Prague. He died Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Wellston at the age of 67 years. Terry served in the United States Army as a tank driver and sharpshooter. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Okla.

A funeral service will be held for Helen Arrington of Stroud at 10 a.m., Friday, September 24, 2021, at United Pentecostal Churc h in Stroud. Pastor Greg Jones will officiate and burial will follow at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Stroud.
