Impersonator problem

Randa Dawn Tonubbee-Mugele, 33, of Chandler was charged with falsely personating another to create liability.

According to the affidavit filed by Chandler Police Officer Brent Berry, Officer Berry saw Tonubbee-Mugele walking down 5th Street and he knew she had an outstanding warrant.

When he approached her, she turned away from him and said she didn’t have to talk to him since she wasn’t doing anything wrong and that all she was doing was walking home, according to the affidavit.

Officer Berry asked her what her name was and she said Sarah Kilgore, according to the affidavit.

However, Officer Berry knew it wasn’t her name because he had dealt with Sarah Kilgore, according to the affidavit.

While dispatch was running her name, Tonubbee-Mugele admitted to giving him a false name to keep from being arrested, according to the affidavit.

According to the affidavit, dispatch advised that she had two warrants out for her arrest. Tonubbee-Mugele had her initial appearance Thursday, Jan. 30, and will be back in court Feb. 20 at 1:30 p.m.

Combs charged with harboring Palagonia

Crystal Johanna Combs, 28, of Sparks was charged with harboring a fugitive from justice.

According to the affidavit filed by Lincoln County Sheriff Deputy Larry Stover Jr., Combs brother, Roy Palagonia showed up at her house around 12:30 a.m. and was there for over five hours before she called the U.S. Marshall Service at 5:45 a.m.

Palagonia was wanted on four outstanding Lincoln County warrants. Palagonia was sent to prison in 2017 for six years, but was out on probation.

He was arrested in the parking lot of the Shawnee Walmart at 12:30 a.m., Jan. 2. Combs will be back in court Thursday, Feb. 20 at 1:30 p.m.

Stewart charged with intimidation

Leslyie Javonna Stewart, 50, of Prague was charged with intimidation of witness. According to the charges filed, Stewart sent harassing text messages and made harassing phone calls to Megan Kroutil with the intent to prevent her from appearing in court to give a testimony regarding a report of child abuse she had made.

Stewart filled her $2,000 bond and will have her initial appearance Thursday, Feb. 20 at 1:30 p.m.

Fight over ice cream

Eric Roger Bannister, 42, of Chandler was charged with domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor.

According to the affidavit filed by Lincoln County Deputy Sheriff George Kelly Coleman, Ashley Flint called to report that her father, Bannister, had assaulted her and left her with minor injuries Friday, Jan. 17.

According to the affidavit, Flint told Coleman that her son, referred to as W.F. was asleep on the couch and Bannister asked if he could have W.F.’s ice cream.

When Flint said no, Bannister became loud and belligerent and calling her names, according to the affidavit.

Flint moved Bannister’s sandwich and told him he needed to go, to which he got mad and tried to stab her with a fork, according to the affidavit.

Ashley showed Coleman four small red marks in a line on her upper left chest. According to the affidavit, W.F. was awoken by the confrontation and witnessed the whole event.

Bannister told Coleman Flint had started yelling and punched him in the face and he pushed her back, according to the affidavit.

When Coleman told Bannister that Flint had marks on her chest that appeared to come from a fork, Bannister became upset and started yelling. Bannister had his initial appearance Jan. 27 and will be back in court Mar. 5. at 1:30 p.m. for the prepreliminary hearing.
