Couples reach milestone anniversaries

Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Battle

The children and grandchildren of Nicholas and Barbara Battle would like to honor them on the occasion of their 60 ^th Wedding Anniversary.

Barbara Wilson and Nicholas Battle were married November 19, 1960.

A celebration will be held at a later date due to COVID-19. The family is looking forward to commemorating this great achievement with relatives and friends soon.

Nicholas retired from General Motors and Barbara retired after running her own cleaning service.

The Chandler couple has eight children and nine grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Patterson

The family of Don and Alice Patterson of Sparks announced the couple’s 65 ^th Wedding Anniversary. Alice Danker and Don Patterson were married on November 19, 1955, in Chandler.

There will be no celebration due to COVID-19 but cards of congratulations can be sent to them at 345690 E. 990 Road, Sparks, OK 74869.

Don and Alice both held jobs outside the home in the early years of marriage. Don continued to work ag-related jobs even while the couple ran beef cattle and operated a dairy. They still run beef cattle on their farm near Sparks.

Their children are LaDonna Patterson-Gidney, Cliff Patterson, Myrna Patterson-Beasler and Clint and Darsi Patterson. They are the grandparents of Brett Gidney, Trey and Summer Harris, Matthew Gidney, Nikki Beasler, Jordan Patterson, Josie Patterson and Kyle and Kristen Earhart.

The Pattersons have two great-grandchildren, Ruth Earhart and Jack Earhart.
