Oklahoma State honor rolls

A total of 8,004 students were named to the 2020 fall semester honor rolls at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, including 3,449 students named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an A grade in all their courses.

Blackburn honored in Chandler

Nursing graduates recognized

A pinning ceremony was held recently at Seminole State College in Seminole, Okla., for nursing students expected to meet degree requirements this semester. The following students were eligible to complete degree requirements and are expected graduates - Brandi Albrecht of Sparks; Ashley Doss of Meeker; and Shelby Chisholm, Kristen Conaway, Tyann Maytubby, Victoria Rymel, all of Shawnee.

Parades in Lincoln County

School board filings

Body
The filing period for school board offices in Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties opened Monday and it continued through Wednesday. Lincoln County Election Board Secretary Melissa Stambaugh said these were the candidates who had filed through Tuesday for the following offices.

UCO to hold virtual commencement

The University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond will celebrate the achievements of approximately 1,074 graduates during the Fall 2020 Virtual Commencement Ceremony premiering at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.
