Wellston couple reaches 60 years of matrimony

Marvin and Deanna Kriel Evans of Wellston were married August 27, 1960. They have raised cattle and farmed together for 60 years now and plan to continue to do so.

For most of their married life, they have raised a huge garden and people know where they can find fresh veggies under the shade tree.

The couple’s three daughters are Kristi Key, Lisa Clayton and Dana Reindl. Their son-in-law is Creighton Reindl. The Evans have eight grandchildren, three grands-in-law and three great-grandchildren.

No celebration is planned due to the COVID pandemic but the active couple are still out and about and friends and family are encouraged to wish them a “Happy Anniversary” when they see them.
