Dale High School has announced that Nicole Blue, Chayse Caram and Makenzy Herman are the valedictorians for the Class of 2023.
Nicole Blue
Nicole Blue is the daughter of Brandi and Josh Blue. She has attended Dale schools since Pre-k. She has been active in Student Council, Year book, and Stingray Volleyball academy. She has received awards including Superintendents Honor Roll, Oklahoma Honor Society, and National Honors Society. She has been involved in the community with Chick-fil-a Leadership Academy. Nicole’s plans after high school graduation are to attend Seminole State college to continue her academic and athletic career.
Makenzy Herman
Makenzy Herman is the daughter of Kristy Yates and David Herman. She has attended Dale schools for 9 years. She has been active in Student Council, Fellowship Christian Athletes, Basketball, Fastpitch and slowpitch softball, and First United Bank Board. She has received awards including Superintendent’s Honor Roll, Oklahoma Honor Society, National Honor Society, Fastpitch softball state runner up, Slowpitch state champion, and basketball semifinalist qualifier. She has been involved in the community by a mission trip to Peru, Dale lady pirate basketball camp, Salvation Army Volunteer, Volunteer at St. Anthony’s Hospital, and chick-fila leadership Academy. Makenzy’s plans after high school graduation are to attend Murray State college to continue her softball career and study health sciences.
Chayse Caram
Chayse Caram is the daughter of Reagan and Tiffany Caram. She has attended Dale schools since Pre-K. She has a 4.2 GPA and has received awards including Oklahoma Honor Society, National Honor Society, 2021 Slowpitch State Champion, and All State Fastpitch Softball Player. She has been active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Dale Leadership team, Yearbook, Basketball manager, and Kuest ministry team. She has been involved in the community by being a life church lifekids leader, and homelessness outreach. Chayse is employed at the healthy hive and is an intern at Oklahoma Court Services. Her plans after high school graduation are to attend the University of Central Oklahoma to major in Forensic Investigations as well as continue her athletic career on the women’s rowing team.
