Below The Sky
Below the sky of red, white, blue,
We gather now, the brave in view.
Their names etched deep in stone and soul,
Each story is part of freedom’s toll.
They trudged through fire, stood through fear,
For dreams they held, for those held near.
On foreign shores and fields unknown,
They fought so we might call this home
The quiet rows, the flags that wave,
Remind us of the price they gave.
Not just in battles, wounds, or cries—
But in the love that never dies.
Today we pause, our hearts aligned,
With grateful tears and humbled minds.
For every hero, gone yet near—
We whisper thanks, we hold you here.
