APrague man is facing three felonies, among them two for assaulting officers, following his recent arrest.
Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court Feb. 3, 2025 against Ted William Griffin, 35.
The three felonies include felony discharging firearm into dwelling, assault and battery on a police officer and assault and battery on police officer.
In his initial appearance before Special Judge Emily Mueller on Feb. 20, 2025, she set his bond at $50,000. She has continued his pre-preliminary hearing until 9 a.m. May 1. That has been continued until 9 a.m. May 29.
In count 1, Griffin is accused on Jan. 22, 2025 of discharging any firearm or other deadly weapon specifically by firing a gun into the residence at 106351 S. 3490 Road in Prague.
Count 2 charges him on the same day of striking Lincoln County Deputy Steven Hinkle in the face, chest and or/legs by kicking him with the intent to injure him while Hinkle was performing his duties as a deputy.
In Count 3, Griffin is accused of striking Lincoln County Deputy Brad Jackson by punching and kicking him with the intent to injure Jackson while he was performing his duties as a deputy.
