Chandler Board of Education members this week approved the hiring of three new personnel and accepted the resignation of a teacher.
They also also approved the regular board meeting dates, times, and places for the calendar year 2025.
School Supt. Scott Baade said after going into executive session, board members returned to open meeting and hired the following personnel.
Shawnda Watkins, full-time aide and substitute teacher; Sierra Moore, full-time cafeteria worker; and Marcy Potts, STEM teacher.
They accepted the resignation of Katanna Davis, STEM teacher.
Board members also voted to approve the school lease agreement for the 83.51 acres with terms beginning Jan. 1, 2025, and ending Dec. 31, 2025.
An auction will be held in the Superintendent’s office at 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2025.
They approved the Memorandum of Understanding with Willow Springs Boys Ranch.
