The Lincoln County Commissioners voted to approve the Lincoln County Fairgrounds Tobacco Free Policy at their meeting on Aug. 18, among other items.
They also approved the Comprehensive Tobacco-Free and Vape-Free Policies and Checklists. In doing so, the Lincoln County Fairgrounds will now be eligible to apply for TSET grants.
Additionally, they approved a letter of support for Lincoln County On-Stage, which is applying for a Route 66 Commission Grant for the second time.
Other items that they approved include: a memorandum of understanding with Agra Public Schools and Meeker Public Schools; declaring a surplus for District #1 and the Health Department; a special transportation fund request for District #3; Purchase Card Payment approval; monthly reports; transfer of appropriations and transfer of funds; and the cash funds and estimate of needs.
