A pre-preliminary hearing has been scheduled for an 18-year-old Prague woman facing two felonies, one of them first degree rape, and another Prague woman has been charged with enabling child sexual abuse and child neglect.
Taylor Jo Bittle was charged in Lincoln County District Court Dec. 15, 2023 with first degree rape and lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16.
Her pre-preliminary hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. on March 21.
The alleged crimes were reportedly committed between Oct. 1, 2023 and Dec. 5, 2023. Bittle appeared before Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk Dec. 11 who set her bond at $7,500 and ordered her to reappear court on Jan. 22, 2024.
Tera Scroggins, 37, was charged in Lincoln County District Court Dec. 15 with enabling child sexual abuse and child neglect.
She appeared before Judge Kirk on Dec. 18 and her bond was set at $12,000.
She reappeared with an attorney on Jan. 29, and Judge Kirk has set her pre-preliminary hearing for April 11.
The alleged crimes reportedly occurred between Oct. 1, 2023 and Dec. 5, 2023.
