A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for an Agra man facing two counts of child sexual abuse.
John David Somers, Jr., 33, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on Jan. 4 this year with the two counts.
He first appeared before Associate District Sheila Kirk in December who set his bond at $25,000 with the stipulation he have no contact with the victim.
Somers made his initial appearance on Jan. 4 before Special Judge Emily Mueller who set his pre-preliminary hearing for Feb. 1.
His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. May 2.
Somers is accused of committing the two alleged crimes on Dec. 23, 2023, at a residence in Agra.
He was arrested by Lincoln County deputies in Agra that night.
