Iowa State University recently released its Spring 2024 Dean’s List, which included a student from Lincoln County.
Sarah Elisa McFadden, from Wellston, Oklahoma, made the list. She is a senior studying criminal justice.
More than 10,600 students were recognized for their outstanding achievements by making the list, according to the university.
To make the Dean’s List, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while taking a minimumof12credithours of graded coursework.
Iowa State University is a public research university in Ames, Iowa. It was foundedin1858astheIowa Agricultural College and Model Farm.
It becaame one of the country’s first designated land-grant institutions in 1862.
The university has over 25,000 undergraduate students and is the largest university in the state of Iowa.
