As I read in the bible I think if we don’t follow Jesus and keep His sayings we could be in the most trouble forever. How do we get to be chosen keeps crossing my mind.
I keep seeing Jesus telling us to get away from ourselves as our master. He said we can’t serve two masters. We make a dangerous master, and money will be a poor reward for our life of living.
Jesus said we must seek Him with all our heart, with all of our soul, and with all our strength. You know I think if we did this, we would be chosen. Also I think this world would lose its power over us, and we could enter into His kingdom. Where the ways of man are not found.
Remember in Revelations we read about an angel flying through the midst of heaven saying, “ Come out of her my people and don’t take part in her sins.” Really when we are self-righteous, we are not of God. We are of ourselves. I can’t see how anyone can be chosen if they are self-righteous. After all He said to seek the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness.
