Lincoln County commissioners this week adopted a resolution for the Use Tax Account for 17 fire departments.
They also adopted a resolution for funds from the Use Tax Accrued Interest Account to be used towards construction of an Administration Annex when it’s built.
This is for the interest only to be utilized for that purpose it was emphasized.
County Clerk Alicia Wagnon explained that 17 fire departments will receive $500 each a month from the Use Tax Account.
Commissioners approved contract agreements between Smith Brothers Abstract Services and the Lincoln County Treasurer and also between Lincoln County Title and the County Treasurer.
The agreement for abstract services comes as the result of the auditor making it a requirement on re-sales.
Commissioners also held up on contracts and took no action for architectural services with Corbin, Merz and Haney for the OSU Extension Office building and on engineering costs for the OSU Extension Office building.
In other business, commissioners: Approved an agreement with Logan County to delineate maintenance responsibilities on Pottawatomie Road, also known as 3290 Road.
Adopted a resolution authorizing payment of engineering costs for District 2 bridges from the CBRI fund.
Took no action on any quotes for water cooler systems.
Approved an Oklahoma Emergency Management Access Authorization form.
