Lincoln County commissioners this week agreed to the details and terms and signed a contract that will allow Reverence Film, LLC, to film parts of its movie at the Lincoln County Courthouse and Sheriff’s Office.
District 3 Commissioner Lee Doolen, who is also chairman of the commissioners, said the Sheriff and the District Attorney had worked out the details and terms of the contract.
The commissioners accepted the Safe Oklahoma Grant award that targets overtime shifts in high violent crime areas.
They approved an application for the 2024 Oklahoma Emergency Management Grant that will pay for registration and travel for the OEM state conference.
Commissioners opened six month bids for asphalt, asphalt laid, chip and seal, concrete, steel, rock, tin horns and grader blades and deferred action until their Dec. 18 meeting.
They approved Hickery Grove Plat in District 3 west of 3300 Road and north of 1000 Road.
In other business, commissioners: Awarded a bid for construction of Bridge No. 74 in District 2.
Agreed to a contract with Railroad Yard for construction of that bridge in District 2.
Doolen said both of those items go hand in hand.
Approved title sheets for Bridge 262A and 261B in District 3.
Approved I-40 Crosstown Steel Beam transfer forms for Bridge 261B and Bridge 306.
Approved an ODOT form in District 1.
Agreed to make public utilities exempt from paying road crossing permit fees and flood plain fees.
Approved Declaration of Surplus for District No. 1 and the County Clerk’s Office.
Adopted a resolution appointing requesting, receiving, inventory officers for Prague Senior Cener.
