OG&E offers $60k STEM scholarship

The Oklahoma Gas & Electric Company (OG&E) is offering the Positive Energy Scholarship to three students pursuing majors in STEM fields, according to a press release.

They will award $15,000 per year, renewable annually for up to four consecutive years, for a total of $60,000 per recipient. The scholarship covers tuition, books, fees, and on-campus room-andboard expenses. The Oklahoma City Community Foundation administers it on behalf of the OGE Energy Corp. Foundation.

“Building the future of our communities begins by providing educational opportunities for the next generation,” said Kelli Hayward Walsh, OG&E Manager Community Outreach & Engagement. “This scholarship helps students with strong character and a passion for STEM chase their dreams without worrying about financial constraints.”
