Three of four defendants charged earlier this year with conspiracy have entered innocent pleas during their arraignments recently and one remains at large on an outstanding warrant.
Two of those charged each have several prior felony convictions.
Formal charges of conspiracy were filed in Lincoln County District Court Apr. 1, 2025 against Aniya Davis, 18, of Edmond; Dontrell Yadez Smith, 28, Stillwater; Anthony DeShawn Holman, 36, Edmond; and James Bunyan Greenhoward, 19, Stroud. During their arraignments recently before District Judge Sarah Bridge, Smith, Holman and Greenhoward entered innocent pleas. The judge received their pleas and set their cases for the felony disposition docket at 9 a.m. on Aug. 19.
Davis remains at large wanted on a bench warrant.
Court records show that $5,000 bench warrants were issued for the arrest of all four on the same day the charges were filed against them. The warrants were returned and filed the same day they were issued on all but Davis who reportedly is still oustanding.
Smith, Holman and Greenhoward each made their initial appearances on April 3. Preliminary hearings for each of those was held. on June 23.
The charge against the four accuses them of between March 16, 2025 and March 18, 2025 of conspiring and agreeing with Dontrell Smith, Aniya Davis and Anthony Holman to commit the crime of bringing contraband into the jail, a felony, by James Greenhoward arranging with Aniya Davis to deliver a package of contraband containing a cell phone and other items to the outside of the Lincoln County Jail and then arranging for Smith and Holman to retrieve that package and bring it into the jail in furtherance of the conspiracy.
Supplemental information filed in the case by Assistant District Attorney Kelly Trimble shows that Holman and Smith each have been previously convicted of several felonies.
Holman has been convicted of the following: On July 8, 2019 in Oklahoma County District Court Count 1, assault and battery on a police officer.
On the same day, convicted of Count 2, domestic abuse by strangulation.
And Count 3, larceny of an automobile.
In Oklahoma County District Court on Aug.. 8, 2017, assault and battery on a police officer.
On June 25, 2013 in Oklahoma County District Court, larceny from a person.
Smith has been convicted of the following, all on Oct. 16, 2024 in Oklahoma County District Court, including trafficking in illegal drugs, second degree burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony and possession of a Controlled Drug with intent to distribute.
