Emi McGuire and Braxton Estes have been named student Rotarians of the Month for April.

Emi McGuire is the daughter of Bruce and Niki Mc-Guire.

After graduating, McGuire will attend Oklahoma Baptist University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a Pre-Allied Health Emphasis. She will also continue cheering as a member of the OBU cheer squad.

She has maintained a 3.98 GPA or above throughout her four years of high school and has been enrolled in honors English all four years.

McGuire’s awards and honors include attending the Academic Banquet and being on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for four years, National Honor Society, OSSAA Cheer Regional Champion, OSSAA Academic Award, All-American Cheerleader, All Regional Cheerleader, All-State Cheerleader, Academic Excellence Honors English and Algebra, and homecoming queen.

Her school activities include cheer, track, Student Council, PSI, Yearbook, FFA, powerlifting, football manager, stunt, BancFirst Student Board of Directors, and NASA.

McGuire is also a member of DreamCatchers Dance Company.

She is a competitive dancer on the senior team and travels in and out of state to compete. During her time at this studio, she has won over a decade’s worth of Regional/National Titles.

Her community involvement includes volunteering at South Central Industry, Lincoln County Relay for Life, Halloween Carnival, the Ice Cream Festival, DHS Christmas Adopt a Child, Stamp out Starvation Food Drive, and Special Olympics Summer Games.

Braxton Estes is the son of Shay and Julie Rackley. After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain, where he will continue playing baseball while studying physical therapy. His aspirations are driven by a desire to give back to the sports community that has shaped him.

For Estes, the pursuit of physical therapy isn’t just a career path, it’s a calling to serve others, make a tangible difference in athletes’ lives, and help them overcome injuries and achieve peak performance.

Estes has been committed to academic excellence throughout his high school career and has built athletic prowess by playing both baseball and football. He has a 3.85 GPA and takes concurrent classes. He has been just as committed to academic excellence as his athletic pursuits.

He is a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Bristow and has volunteered his time to help assemble furniture at The Chosen House.
