A $15,000 bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Davenport man charged with two felonies in separate cases.

A formal felony count of violation of the Mary Rippy Violent Crime Registration Act was filed Jan. 24 in Lincoln County District Court against Thad DeLacy Tucker, 36.

The $15,000 bench warrant was issued the same day the charge was filed. The DistrictAttorney filed supplemental information showing that Tucker has several previous felony convictions beginning in 2006.

The felony charge accuses Tucker of between March 21, 2022 and Dec. 4, 2022, of violation of the Mary Rippy Violent Crime Registration Act by failing to notify the Stroud Police Department three business days prior to abandoning or moving from his address of previous registration at 524 N. Ford Avenue in Stroud after having been convicted in Creek County District Court of Assault with Deadly Weapon on Dec. 9, 2015 and being subject to the Act.

The other felony charge filed against Tucker is for domestic assault and battery by strangulation. He appeared before Special Judge Emily Mueller Jan. 20 on that count.

He is accused on Jan. 19, 2023 of strangling the victim, Makayla Kalka, a person he was in a dating relationship with.

She set his bond at $5,000 and stipulated he is to have no contact with the victim as a condition of the bond. He is to make his initial appearance on Feb. 2 in that case, the judge ordered.

The supplemental information filed in both cases shows that in addition to the conviction in Creek County Tucker pleaded guilty on Oct. 4, 2006 in Lincoln County District to four charges of second degree burglary, Theft of CDS, Grand Larceny and taking credit or debit card.

Also on Oct. 4 of 2006 in Lincoln County District Court he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of CDS with intent to distribute.

On June 13, 2014 in Lincoln County District Court, Tucker pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of firearm after previous felony conviction.
