Sandra Kay Brooks-Cox was born Feb. 20, 1959 in Yakima, Wash. to Jim and Jo Ann (Lingar) Brooks. She died June 12, 2022 in Chandler at the age of 63.
Sandra graduated high school and worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant in Tecumseh.
She took care of her parents as a homemaker. Sandra was preceded in

Survivors include her husband Charles Cox of the home; children, Charles Richmond and wife Lisa of Tulsa, Jenna (Richmond) Hallman and husband Lance and their four children of Hunnewell, Kan.; sister, Patty Green; brothers, Darrell Brooks, and Richard Brooks all of Shawnee; and other relatives and friends.
Sandra’s family will host a private memorial service later.
