You know the fun part of birthday parties when everyone sings happy birthday and you get to blow out the candles on your cake?
Well that part turns out to be Charlee’s least favorite part.
She sat terrified while everyone sang! When it was time to blow out the candle, she stuck one of her little hands right in the side of the cake and nearly knocked it out of my hands!
So, maybe next year she will blow her candle out herself.
All in all, her Minnie Mouse 3rd birthday party seemed to be everything she wanted.
She sure was spoiled and loved by all our friends and family.
The next big thing I want to talk about this week is last Sunday.
Brayden and I had walked into a gender reveal party full of all the special people in our lives.
His sister had planned the perfect party. She had a wall of balloons ready for us to pop to figure out what Baby Billings is going to be.
Pink was up by two when all of a sudden we got a blue.
Right when I was thinking we were halfway there for pink, POP! Another blue!
Then a blank pop. So we were tied. Would Brayden end up being right or would I?
POP! Another BLUE! This is when I started to get a little nervous.
I mean seriously, I have two girls.
What would I do with a boy?! I decided I was going to take a minute to choose the next balloon I popped.
Well sure enough, I chose that last blue balloon! Of course it had to be me!
There it was, the end to my girl-only mom journey!
We are getting our very own boy! Brayden was happy and you could see it all over his face.
I think the first words out of his mouth were “Now we can buy G.I. Joes!”
Charlee and Tillie seem to be taking the news just fine.
I on the other hand am wondering how in the world I will ever adjust!
No more bows and pink. G.I. Joes and blue here we come!
It was a perfect weekend and we could not be more excited for our sweet boy!
