Tillie had her second birthday party on Saturday.
It was Peppa Pig themed and she loved every second of it.
Brayden and I watched her face light up with the best smile as soon as we walked into her party.
She ran around playing with Charlee until all her guests arrived, then she got to open her gifts.
She made out like a bandit this year. The whole time the same question was running through my head… “Where’s all this going to go?”
She really wasn’t opening gifts very well at first but, then once she figured out there were toys and stuff inside each carefully wrapped gift she was tearing things all up.
At one point she even smacked me in the face with stuffing paper. It was pretty funny.
After that we sung her happy birthday and had cake. She enjoyed that too.
We got in the car to head home and I kid you not, she was sound asleep before we got out of the parking lot.
It was a big day for an almost two year old. When you’re getting to read this she will officially be two!
So now for the next 26 days I have two two-yearolds.
It was a long and tiring weekend to say the least but watching my sweet girl smile and enjoy her day was the absolute best.
I’m very thankful for everyone in her life that made her feel so special.
Looking back on the last two years, I never would’ve guessed we would be where we are now.
I have two of the most beautiful and sweet toddlers, an amazing boyfriend, the best family and friends, and a new baby on the way.
I’m not sure what I did to deserve this life but I’m sure glad I have it.
Remember to cherish every smile, every laugh, every moment spent watching your children grow up.
They are only children once. Enjoy it and make sure they do too.
