Chandler Library News

One of the new programs at your local Chandler Public Library is the 1KB4K program (One Thousand Books Before Kindergarten) which has been really popular with our youngest patrons.

After starting this program in February, the library is proud to announce the first 1000 Book reader: Knox Wright has finished his first 1000! Check with the library if you would like to enroll your preschooler in this program.

All Together Now, this year’s Summer Reading Program, has come to an end, BUT, Preschool StoryTime continues on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am, and then on Wednesdays at 3:30, there will be a program for grades K-5, Afterschool Adventures.

The first 15 minutes of the program will be social and community activity to accommodate those who may not be able to arrive right at 3:30! You can join either group just by showing up!

Opening in mid-August, StoryPath at Tilghman Park is a new program for your Chandler Public Library. The StoryPath is an interactive reading opportunity with book pages placed throughout the park. Be looking for information about our Grand Opening!

And, of course, there are new books.
