McLoud City Council members during their most recent meeting appointed hunting coordinators for Wes Watkins Lake for the next couple of years.
They also approved the closeout of a CDBG sewer line project and purchased extrication equipment for the fire department.
McLoud City Manager Cody Roe said the Council members appointed Lance Wortham as duck hunting coordinator for two more seasons.
He noted that Bobby McCormick was appointed deer hunting coordinator for two more seasons and that Mike Hill has been appointed assistant deer hunting coordinator for the next two seasons.
In other action, Roe explained the Council approved the Community Development Block Grant closeout on a sewer line project by adopting a resolution.
The city manager said Council members adopted a resolution approving a proposed Ethics policy.
They also adopted an ordinance that does not allow residential structures to be built on any C-1 commercial zoned property and they approved the emergency clause as well.
Council members also approved an ordinance on property maintenance and inspection and approved the emergency clause as well.
They agreed to purchase batteryoperated extrication equipment for the fire department with ARPA funding for $24,534, Roe said.
A presentation was made by McLoud Friends of the Park on the layout of the park but Council members took no action, he stated.
A budget amendment of $24,534 was approved covering the cost of the extrication equipment. Roe said that Council members, meeting as the Public Works Authority, approved Task Order No. 2, a water model update, at an additional cost of $20,000.
The Authority also approved the purchase of a manual hoist for $15,404 with ARPA funding.
