Jordan Coody from North Rock Creek was named the North Canadian River Conference defensive player of the year and was one of three NRC players named to the all-conference first team.
Noah McMullan, a four-year starter for the Cougars, joined Coody on the first team and Olivia McRay was named to the girls team.
McMullan started as a freshman on NRC’s first-ever boys team, which competed in Class B in the playoffs.
This year, the Cougars finished 21-8 and competed in Class 4A.
McRay, a sophomore, was the conference’s newcomer of the year last year.
Senior Jayden Haney, a four-year starter, Katyln Masquas, Lydia Antwerp and Morgan Campbell were honorable mentions on the girls team.
Diego Garcia, Rayne Jones, Carter Harvey, Jace McRay and Takoda Bryce were named to the boys honorable mention list.
