Stroud, Meeker, Prague advance

Three Lincoln County schools advanced to the second round of the football playoffs last week, but three teams in the area lost and were eliminated.

Stroud powered past Morrison, 52-12, in Class A to advance to the second round against Gore. That game is at Stroud at 7 p.m. Friday.

With a win, the Tigers would advance to play the winner of Fairview and Crescent in the quarterfinals.

In Class 2A, Meeker knocked off Oklahoma Christian School, 27-14, on the road to advance to this week’s game against No. 1 Washington at Washington. A win would put the Bulldogs into the quarterfinals next week against the winner of Adair and Vian.

Unbeaten Prague beat Spiro, 45-0, and will be at home again this week to play Victory Christian. If they win, the Red Devils would face the winner of Jones and Davis next week.

Chandler lost to Alva, 16-6. North Rock Creek made its first-ever playoff appearance but lost to Heritage Hall, 5613. Davenport fell in its first-round game to Drumright, 62-12.
