Stroud built up a 48-0 lead in three quarters and posted a 56-22 win over Okemah in the final nondistrict tuneup.
The Tigers host Liberty at 7 p.m. on Friday. So far this season, the Tigers have followed the same script as last season, when they lost their first two games to Chandler and Colcord but won out for the regular season and reached the state quarterfinals.
Stroud’s defense and special teams scored enough to win the game, but the offense gained 236 yards on only 31 snaps, an average of almost eight yards per play.
The Tigers got touchdowns on an interception return, two returns, and a kickoff return.
