Prairie Pointe residents Margie Testerman and James Green, brother and sister, celebrated their birthdays Saturday. Family from Texas spent the weekend in Stroud and brought cake for the occasion. They also treated the “Birthday Kids” to dinner Saturday evening at Scotty B’s in Davenport.

Commissioners approve CDBG grant

The Lincoln County Commissioners during a special meeting last week, approved closing out the documents and finalizing a $150,000 CDBG grant for Jacktown Fire Department. Paul Simpson is Rural Fire Coordinator with the Central Oklahoma Economic Development District (COEDD).
