Slow-pitch playoffs

Six area schools moved into regional slow-pitch tournaments this week. Chandler, North Rock Creek, McLoud and Prague are playing in Class 5A and Dale and Stroud are in Class 4A. Two teams from each regional will qualify for next week’s state tournaments.

Three squads from Pott County will be aiming to bring home gold balls from the basketball state tournaments this. The defending state champion Dale girls play at noon Wednesday against Okemah. The two-time defending state champion Dale boys will play Warner at 7:30 p.m.
