Hiland Dairy is now accepting scholarship applications from students at Chandler High School. They are offering three this year: first place is $500, second is $300 and third is $200.

Junior Katie Wright, treasurer of the Chandler High School FFA chapter, welcomes guests to the Second Annual Chandler Ag Booster Club Dinner and Auction on Jan. 25 at the Route 66 Interpretive Center. Over 40 lots were up for grabs in the live auction, with more items in the silent auction. Stroud man going to trial

A Stroud man facing eight felonies following his arrest by officers and who has been bound over to stand trial and has pleaded innocent, has been set for a felony disposition docket in April.Formal charges were filed Sep. 24, 2024 in Lincoln County District Court against Acey Ambrose Murphy, 33.

On Jan. 24, Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters said that the Oklahoma State Department of Education will support President Donald Trump’s immigration policies and allow U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents to enter schools.

McLoud boys, Okemah girls take home the titles

The McLoud Redskins came from behind to take a tight 52-46 over Chandler in the finals of the 66 Conference tournament Saturday night in Seminole.The win gave the Redskins their second conference championship in their nine years in the conference. They previously won it in 2016.
