Commissioners adopt sales tax resolution

Lincoln County commissioners this week adopted a resolution and election proclamation calling for renewal of the one cent county sales tax to be put on the Feb. 14, 2023 ballot. Commissioners, during their Nov. 21 meeting, voted 2-1 for the election and to change some of the ballot language.

Murder defendant pleads to five unrelated charges

A man awaiting a jury trial on a first degree murder complaint has pleaded guilty to five additional felonies in another case and drawn five prison terms to run concurrently with one another. Cole Berginer Guy, 19 at the time, and now 20, was formally charged Feb.

Ronal Dee Legako, M.D. (Dee) passed away peacefully in his Edmond home Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was born, in Lincoln County Oklahoma in 1941, to parents Adrian H. Legako and Hellen Mozelle Baber Legako.
