The Chandler Board of Education Monday evening voted to pay bonus stipends to two National Board-Certified Staff Members and also approved several contracts and agreements.
School Supt. Melody Toma said bonus stipends of $5,000 less the required state and federal withholdings will be paid to Dana Key and Randee Gray who qualified for them.
The board also hired two para professionals, one for Park Road Elementary and the other for East Side Elementary, Toma stated.
The 2022-2023 school year calendar was approved and the board also approved the revised policy on student transfers.
In other business, the board:
Approved an agreement with Employee Evaluation Systems, Inc., for the Oklahoma Teacher Leader Effective (OKTLE) teacher evaluation program for the 2022-2023 school year.
Approved a contract with “Fire Safety Inspections” for the annual inspection of all fire systems and the annual fire system monitoring.
Agreed to a contract with “ADPC” for basic accounting software services for the 2022-2023 school year,
Approved any and all courses and their respective high school credits offered to Chandler High School Students while attending Gordon Cooper Technology Center during Fiscal Year 2022-2023.
