Norma Lee Toles, 77, joined the heavenly choir on April 6, 2022 in Tulsa, Okla.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Norma was born September 20, 1944 to Lee Henderson and Marie (Mitchell) Poynor. They lived on Keetonville Hill until 1946, when they moved to Collinsville. She wa a big sister to Jayne and Martha and they played together with their many cousins. Norma accepted the Lord at a young age after witnessing the difference God made in her Grandpa Poynor. She moved to Stillwater to attend OSU in 1962 where she got a degree in early education. While attending OSU, Norma me and married Troy Toles. They had two children, John and Karen. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptis Church from 1962 until 2017, when she moved to Sand Springs to live with her daughter and son-in-law
Norma was preceded in death by her husband Troy of 46 years, her father Lee Henderson, mother Marie, sister-in-law Loretta, brother-in-law Calvin, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She is survived by her son John and wife Sandy daughter Karen and husband Jim, grandchildren James, Katie (husband Mike), Justin, Matthew (wife Elizabeth), Joshua, great grandkids Mia, Alise, Hailee, Alex, and Lyla, and sisters Jayne (husband Joe) and Martha.
Norma was kind and loving. She was known for he smile and will be deeply missed.
