Four candidates will compete for Kolache Queen this weekend. The Kolache Festival Royalty Pageant will be 4 p.m., Sunday, May 1. Admission is free. The Prague Czech Folk Dancers will also perform.
Queen contestants are Audra Provaznik, Courtney Brydon, Leslie Clark and Elle Izabella Lauren Standlee-Daniels. The Junior Queen-Elect is Molly Pruett.
Audra, the daughter of Debra Provaznik and Leon Provaznik, is a sophomore at Prague High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Pride of Prague Band.
Junior student Courtney is the daughter of Doug and Marria Brydon. She is an honor student and active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Business Professionals of America, varsity cheer and the Academic Team.
Leslie is the daughter of Robert and Tonya Clark. A senior, she is a member of National Honor Society, Student Council and Book Club. She serves as the drum major for the Pride of Prague Band.
Elle, the daughter of Jack and Jennifer Daniels, is a sophomore who participates in Future Farmers of America and Student Council. She is a member of the Prague Girls Golf team.
Molly, the daughter of James and Melinda Pruett, is a sixth grader at Prague Middle School. She is Prague’s 4-H President and a member of International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
