Dale’s Board of Education this week filled several teaching positions for the 2022-2023 school year and also hired two paraprofessionals for 2022-2023.
The board hired Amber Clark as a Special Education instructor.
Board members hired Troy Flewallen as a half-day teacher at the Middle School and also hired Lauren Kelly as a full time Middle School teacher.
Sunni Mitchell and Cheyenne Berryhill were hired as paraprofessionals.
The board approved incoming financial secretary Tonya Landreth as custodian for the Activity Fund and Child Nutrition Fund and Secondary Principal J.D. Widner as co-custodian of those funds.
Board members approved entering into an agreement with CCOSA to participate in the district level services program for 2022-2023. Acting School Supt. Ky Wilkins explained the organization is the administrative organization to school personnel as the OSSBA is for the board.
Wilkins attended his last meeting as Acting Superintendent as did longtime financial secretary Paula Ramsey who are retiring June 30 this year.
