High school football started Monday with area schools participating in limited workouts.

Teams will go to full practices on Aug. 12.
The Lions will scrimmage at McLoud on Aug. 14 and at home against Heritage Hall on Aug. 25, then open the regular season at home with the annual rivalry game with the Stroud Tigers.
