Chandler High School has announced that the March Lions of the Month are Lory Dugger, Bo Barton and Payton Miller.
Lory Dugger is the daughter of Sabrina Dugger. At Chandler High School Dugger is involved in choir, Positive Peers, Business Professionals of America, Student Council and the BancFirst Student Board of Directors.
Bo Barton is the son of Shawnda Watkins and Adam Barton. At Chandler High School Barton is involved in wrestling, Postponing Sexual Involvement Positive Peers and the BancFirst Student Board of Directors. He also takes advanced English courses.
After graduation Barton plans to attend Oklahoma State University to get a degree in Sports Business. He also plans on getting his real estate license.
Payton Miller is the daughter of Justin and Angela Miller. She is involved in FFA and has served as Chapter FFA Parliamentarian.
She is currently serving as Chapter FFA Treasurer. Her FFA project includes raising and showing swine. She has attended state and National FFA Convention and leadership activities.
She was also a part of the Chandler FFA vet science and animal quiz bowl teams.
Miller also received the Chandler FFA Chapter Vet Medicine Proficiency Award in 2019 and the Chandler FFA Chapter Greenhand Award in 2020.
Miller is also a student in health careers at Gordon Cooper where she has received her Certified Nurse Aid, Emergency Medical Response and Phlebotomy certifications. She is currently working toward Health Unit Coordinator and Certified Medical Assistant certifications.
