Lincoln County Sheriff Detective George Kelly Coleman, in a probable cause affidavit, states he was first contacted on Dec. 13, 2022 by the Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police Department.
According to the affidavit, the investigation continued and on Jan. 4 Stapp was placed under arrest and transported to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office in Chandler. He was escorted to the interview room.
He was read his Miranda Rights. Stapp was informed by the detective of some of the evidence and then Stapp asked to have his lawyer present before he answered more questions.
