Commissioners approve three District 1 projects

Lincoln County commissioners this week adopted a County Roads and Bridge Project resolution for three projects in District 1.

District 1 Commissioner Will Fine said the estimated cost of the projects totals $78,187.50.

They also adopted a use tax resolution to pay for the purchase of 100 handheld radios and batteries and chargers from the Department of Public Safety to be distributed among the County Fire Departments and Emergency Management.

Commissioners voted to accept applications for full time work in their office in the County Courthouse.

They approved Oklahoma Department of Transportation forms pertaining to a District 2 road project on EW 750 Road and a District 1 Kendrick Road project.

Commissioners approved two County Treasurer’s Transcript of Proceedings on sale of county property located at Block 7 S 125 feet lots 1-6 Stroud’s Addition, City of Stroud and Block 80, lots 8-9 City of Chandler, in Lincoln County and they also approved in the same motion the county deeds on those properties.

In other business commissioners: Agreed not to sell at this time county owned property located at Stroud, NW/C SW/4 of Section 10-15N-6E, which contains 9.3 acres more or less.

Agreed to a contract between Highpoint Partners, LLC and Lincoln County.

Approved a Cooperative Extension Services Agreement between OSU Extension Office and Lincoln County.

They agreed to hire Wilson, Dotson and Associates to complete the Temporary Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2024.

Took no action on appointing a member from District 3 to the Lincoln County Industrial Development Authority to replace Chuck Brewer.

Adopted donation resolutions from CenterPoint Holdings, LLC to District 1 and from Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline to Emergency Management.

Approved acknowledging that an unclaimed property mineral interest report will be available to the public in the County Clerk’s Office.

Took no action on removing the push button options from the Courthouse phone lines.

Adopted a resolution for disposing of Equipment for District 1 and approved a declaration of surplus for District 1.
