Wednesday, Dec. 13
Lt. Phipps spoke with a man about a lost passport. The man filled out a voluntary statement so he could replace the missing passport and submitted it on Dec. 14.
Thursday, Dec. 14
Ofc. Berry responded to an active physical domestic on 9th Street. He took a man into custody and once Lincoln County Deputy Ty Wiseman arrived as backup, he spoke with the woman involved and took photos of her injuries. The man was transported to Lincoln County Jail and booked for domestic assault and battery.
Monday, Dec. 18
Lt. Phipps was dispatched to a residence on 8th Street to take a fraud/identity theft report. The victim was advised to keep any other fraudulent bills and turn them in to the police department. Phipps took photos of the evidence and gave the victim a voluntary statement to fill out.
Friday, Dec. 22
Ofc. Hawkins responded to a two-car accident on 3rd Street near the intersection with Steele involving a light blue GMC Canyon and a gray Chevy Equinox. There were no injuries. One car was towed by Chandler Tire and the other by LD’s Wrecker Service.
Sunday, Dec. 24
Ofc. Hawkins was dispatched to Walmart to take a person into custody for larceny. The woman was detained by an asset protection employee, who observed her put a watch and necklace into her purse. Ofc. Hawkins placed the woman into custody for larceny from a retailer and entering with intent to commit larceny. She was then transported and booked into the Lincoln County Jail.
Wednesday, Dec. 27
Ofc. Hawkins was dispatched to the ChandlerAtwoods for an attempted larceny. The manager stated that an unknown man took a full cart of jeans and books out the back door but couldn’t get passed a gravel area. When store employees intervened, the man left in a silver Kia Soul.
