Those Tigers just keep roaring! Congratulations to Coach Josh Presley, his assistant coaches, and the fabulous Stroud Tiger football team on another great win this past Friday night.
The Tigers will advance to the Quarterfinals this Friday when they take on the Salina Wildcats at Jack Poskey Stadium in Stroud.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Let’s pack the stadium to show our “Tiger Pride” and don’t forget to turn on those Tiger blue porch lights.
The Stroud firefighters say thank you to each of you for your donations to their “Fill a Boot” fundraiser.
Through the generosity of the Stroud community, they were able to raise over $6,600 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Stroud High School will present the play “Clue, High School Edition” November 23rd and 24th. Tickets are available at the High School or may be purchased at the door. Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
Town Talk offers its condolences to the families of Joseph Edward Johnson and Mona Jane Worthy Armstrong. Joe graduated from Stroud High School in 1979. He spent most of his life as a diesel mechanic for Miller Truck Lines.
He passed away on November 11th after battling cancer. Mona was also a graduate of Stroud High School, graduating with the Class of 1975.
She was a nurse for over 31 years and loved caring for people. Monda passed away on November 11th. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Stroud Senior Citizen’s Center.

Thank you to the Stroud Chamber of Commerce, Stroud City Hall and all the volunteers who made this past weekend in Stroud an enjoyable time for all who attended the tree lighting activities. The community Christmas tree has been illuminated and Main Street is filled with holiday decorations.
