A Chandler man who allegedly obtained an OMMA license and OBN registration fraudulently and has been charged with trafficking illegal drugs and more than 10,000 marijuana plants were discovered and destroyed, has waived his preliminary hearing.
Kenneth Chen, 50, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on March 26 this year with the felony. He appeared before Special Judge Emily Mueller on March 22 and she set his bond at $75,000.
During his initial appearance on April 11 he pleaded innocent to the felony charge.
Judge Mueller has scheduled his arraignment for 9 a.m. Nov. 19.
The charge accuses Chen on Jan. 3, 2024 of possessing 70 pounds of marijuana, a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
