$50k bench warrant issued for Chandler man

A $50,000 bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of Chandler man due in court on a felony charge and two misdemeanors filed against him in January of 2024.

And another $50,000 bench warrant was issued for his arrest in January of this year in a separate case on a felony charge.

AChandler man is facing charges of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic abuse and a $50,000 bench warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Formal charges of domestic assaultandbattery withadangerousweapon and domestic abuse were filed in Lincoln County Court against Brett Taylor Towne on Jan. 14, 2025.

The $50,000 bench warrant was issued the same day for his arrest.

Count 1 is domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Last week, Towne was due in court on a felony charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and misdemeanors of operating a vehicle with expired/ improper tag/decal and failure to maintain insurance or securit.

Those charges were filed on Jan. 17, 2024 against Towne.

When he didn’t show up for his court appearance, District Judge John Canavan issued he $50,000 warrant for his arrest with bond set at $50,000 and a bond forfeiture order issued.

In the charge filed against Towne on Jan. 14, 2025, he is accused on Oct. 16, 2024 of striking Nicole Beasler, his girlfriend with a dangerous weapon, hitting her in the face with a rock with force and violence without justifiable or excusable cause with the intent to harm Beasler.

Or, in the alternative, Count 2, domestic assault and battery on the same day committing an assault and battery on Beasler striking Beasler in the face with intent to harm her.
