Lincoln County commissioners this week adopted the six-year County Improvement of Roads and Bridges allocation plan and resolution. They also adopted a County Bridge and Road Improvement resolution for road work on bus routes in Carney, Wellston and Perkins with reimbursement from the Iowa Tribe.
Commissioners approved the Opioid Abatement Settlement funds.
They took no action on approving weights for criteria and Measures of Effectiveness with the Safe Streets for All Grant.
In other business, commissioners: Approved an Oklahoma Home and Community Education Proclamation.
Adopted a resolution to reimburse the Sheriff’s accounts for sale of surplus vehicles.
Adopted a resolution to reimburse the Sheriff’s general fund account for overpayment to Verizon Wireless.
Adopted a resolution to appoint requesting, receiving, inventory officers for the Carney Senior Center.
Held up taking any action on a resolution requesting additional funds the erosion and drainage at the Fairgrounds.
Approved a Declaration of Surplus for District 3, Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Management.
On the next to last agenda item did a jail walkthrough with the Sheriff on the jail remodeling.
