Dale has the first two area teams to qualify for state competition this season.
The fastpitch team, pictured at right, will play Howe in the Class 2A tournament at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hall of Fame complex in OKC.
The DLPS are 34-3 and ranked No. 1.
The baseball team plays Tushka at 6:30 Thursday at Yukon. The Pirates are 25-3 and ranked No. 2.
