Glen Leake was born in Lincoln County, Oklahoma to Minnie Kalka Leake and William Eldon Leake on October 29, 1929. He died January 2, 2021. Glen was born at the beginning of the Great Depression, which were very hard times.

As a young boy, there were always chores to do on the farm. Music and Church were also a big part of his life. He would sing at funerals with his sister, accompanied by his mother on piano.

Having grown up on a farm, he acquired an interest in Agriculture and was very active in Future Farmers of America, raising hogs and cows. Glen graduated from high school in Davenport, Okla., in 1947 and went on to get a degree in Agriculture at Oklahoma A & M in 1952. He taught college after that for two years.

He married Geraldine Goodnight on February 25, 1952. Together, they had four children. In 1956, Glen went to work for the Coleman Company, working there for 38 years until his retirement in 1990. In addition to his family, he loved these things; gardening, baseball at Lawrence Stadium, and gospel and country music.

In 2003, Glen and Geraldine moved back to Oklahoma where they were raised. He was the Father of four, Grandpa of seven, and Great-Grandpa to 11. We will miss him dearly.

His survivors are his children Belinda (Ken) Malnar, Janet (Dwayne) Hoppes, Scott (Twyla) Leake, and Alan Leake; seven Grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren; brother Vernon (Von) Leake, Sister Betty (Dale) Crall, and many cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
